Welcome to Behind the Ears: Tips for a Magical Walt Disney World Trip! We are Debbie and Marisa, a mother-daughter duo of life-long Disney fanatics and theme park goers.

Over the years, we have been asked for our opinions when friends, family members, colleagues and acquaintances alike embarked on planning their Walt Disney World vacations. When we say that we "ooze" Disney, we mean it (and not in a gross way). A passion for it simply runs through our veins. The Walt Disney World Resort truly is the most magical place on earth and it is absolutely incredible when we have the opportunity to help others with their vacation plans. There is nothing that gives us greater pleasure than sharing our enthusiasm and making someone have an experience of a lifetime!
Through numerous interactions, many have suggested that we consider becoming official travel planners, which brings us to this very page and many of its contents. In 2019, we decided to share our love of Disney in a broader scope, starting with our online Facebook community with a continued growth across multiple social platforms.

We are especially excited as we look towards a future filled with adventures, thrilling changes, and a little spark of imagination. It is our continued aim to provide you with authentic material, reviews, and helpful tips, alongside engaging imagery and video references. Most importantly we’ll be bringing home the magic directly to you, the Behind the Ears family!

Hi, I am Debbie and the mother in this mother-daughter duo. I have been an avid Disney fan for as long as I can remember. I have visited the Walt Disney World Resort as a child, single adult, newlywed, and a mom and have enjoyed the magic from all these perspectives. Seeing the Walt Disney World resort over the years gives me a unique perspective on what makes it special for different ages and stages of family life.

Hi, I'm Marisa - the daughter in this Behind the Ears duo. Much like my mom, I am a seasoned vet when it comes to Walt Disney World. I developed a deep passion for all things Disney at a very young age, intrigued by the art of animation. As an artist and avid photographer, I look to capture a bit of the Disney magic while at the most magical place on earth. When I'm not visiting the parks or collecting Disney pins, I can be found teaching art or creating works of my own in a variety of media.
